2. Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) Gasification

Dry Waste to Methanol Process
The dry fractions from MSW undergo high-temperature gasification, where RDF is thermochemically converted into synthesis gas (syngas), a mixture of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (Hâ‚‚), and methane (CHâ‚„). Our system incorporates advanced gasification technology that operates at elevated temperatures to ensure a cleaner syngas output with minimal contaminants like tar and particulates. The syngas is then used in a highly efficient methanol synthesis process, which leverages catalytic reactions to convert syngas into green methanol. This methanol can be utilized as a clean fuel or as a chemical feedstock, contributing to the circular economy by reducing reliance on fossil fuel-based methanol.
